Energizing Young Entrepreneurs
In the April 25, 2012 webinar, Craig Schroeder, Senior Fellow at the Center for Rural Entrepreneurship in Nebraska, spoke of his experience with youth engagement strategies and of ways to attract young people back to our rural communities. He also stressed the importance of communities working together to try to provide economic and entrepreneurial opportunities for young people within their area and explained his 'youth attraction formula' that shows the benefit of youth engagement in the prevention of population loss. The webinar also included a special presentation from the Fusion Youth Centre in Ingersoll, Ontario.

Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) Webinar - Friday, March 12, 2010
On July 1, 2010 the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) replaces Ontario’s Provincial Sales Tax (PST). This webinar led participants through the key elements of the HST, helping organizations to understand how it will affect them. The webinar provided up-to-date, current information to assist organizations in developing a plan to deal with the changes necessary in accounting and organization processes. It was directed at executive directors, staff and board members charged with implementing the HST within their organizations and communicating the impact of the new tax.
